Introducing Commander Brackets
Beta introduction — February 11, 2025
The original Commander Brackets beta introduction, published February 11, 2025. A vocabulary for discussing game expectations, not a guarantee of balanced pods. This historical article is distinct from later updates.
Use this introduction to understand the intent of Brackets, then check Wizards’ later updates before discussing your deck. Keep the Rule 0 conversation: a bracket alone does not describe every playgroup’s expectations.
